Why averages under-forecast
- Monthly flow usage is the highest flow count observed in a single hour, not an average across the month.
- Flow counts multiply by workers on CloudHub and by replicas on CloudHub 2.0 or Runtime Fabric — high availability multiplies the counted estate.
- A message is counted when an event source fires, so schedulers consume allotment whether or not anything downstream happens.
- Measured data throughput includes internal operational traffic for monitoring, logs and health checks.
